Clinical governance
Greenbrook delivers clinical governance by making appropriate clinical care central to all operational and strategic elements of the business. In practice a Clinical Advisory Board comprising clinicians from inside and outside Greenbrook takes full delegated responsibility for clinical governance. Careful performance review of our service, optimisation of management information and pro-active support/supervision for clinicians ensures patient safety.
The Clinical Directorate oversees all clinical elements of Greenbrook management, including bringing clinical expertise to the board. Its functions include generating and reviewing clinical processes and protocols, defining and managing the clinical reporting system and delivering clinical governance operationally. It is also integral to strategy development, R&D, training, education and GP commissioning.
Training of our clinical staff is key both to our realisation of a high quality workforce who deliver high quality services and underpins our strategy for clinical governance. A varied programme of educational events is coordinated by Greenbrook for doctors and nurses driven by their personal development plans and annual appraisal.
